2. Collection and processing of personal data

a) When visiting our website (Log files)

When accessing our website, the web server automatically collects the following information and temporarily stores it in so-called log files:

• IP address of the requesting computer
• Date and time of access
• Browser type and browser version
• Operating system used
• Referrer URL (previously visited page)
• Host name of the accessing computer

These data are not combined with other personal data and are automatically deleted after 7 days at the latest.

Purpose: Ensuring the stability, security, and functionality of the website (e.g., defense against attacks).
Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR (legitimate interest).
You can object to this processing if your interests prevail.

b) When contacting us by email

If you contact us by email, we process the data you provide (e.g., name, email address, content of your message) exclusively for processing and answering your inquiry.

Legal basis:

• Art. 6 (1) lit. b GDPR (pre-contractual measures or performance of a contract), provided the contact aims at concluding a contract,
• otherwise Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR (legitimate interest in processing customer and prospect inquiries).

The data will be deleted as soon as your inquiry has been conclusively processed and there are no longer any statutory retention obligations.

3. Disclosure of data

Your personal data will only be disclosed to third parties if:

• this is necessary to fulfill our obligations,
• you have explicitly consented, or
• there is a legal obligation.

We use service providers (e.g., hosting providers) within the framework of order processing according to Art. 28 GDPR. These are contractually obligated to comply with data protection regulations.

4. Cookies

We exclusively use technically necessary cookies that are required for the smooth operation of the website.
Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR (legitimate interest).
No tracking or analysis cookies are set.

5. Google Fonts

We embed Google Fonts locally (self-hosted) on our server. There is no connection to Google servers and no transfer of personal data to third parties.

6. SSL/TLS encryption

Our website uses SSL encryption to ensure the security of data transmission. This can be recognized by the “https://” and the lock symbol in your browser’s address bar.

7. Storage duration

Personal data are only stored for as long as is necessary for the respective purpose or as required by statutory retention obligations (e.g., from commercial or tax law). After that, the data are routinely deleted.

You have the following rights towards us regarding your personal data:

9. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We reserve the right to adapt this Privacy Policy if necessary, e.g., due to changes in the law or changes to our processing procedures. The current version can be found on our website.
